Many leaders place a great emphasis on building
their reputation and not their character. They appear
admirable from afar, but up close, their talk and walk
are incongruent. InsideOut is committed to developing
leaders with an inner resolve to lead from the inside
out. This means training leaders to place a high value
on personal integrity and authenticity-the "being" of
leadership.
COMPETENCE
Having the skills and tools necessary to get
the job done is essential for effective leadership. The
"how" of applying concepts and theories can often be
challenging for the emerging leader. Women often face
the complex challenge of balancing societal demands,
family needs, and professional pursuits. InsideOut is a
conduit for emerging leader to get the insights, learn
the strategies, and gain the knowledge necessary for
effective leadership through leadership practicum,
coaching, and mentoring.
CONFIDENCE
Emerging leaders may often be hesitant to
assume positions of leadership, because of their own
doubt in their abilities to lead. Although they may
possess both the ability and the skills, reinforcement
and affirmation is often necessary to evoke the kind of
confidence necessary to excel as a leader. InsideOut
fosters and builds confidence by encouraging emerging
leaders to clearly define and articulate their overall
plan, passion, and life’s mission. |
