Bonnie Brown has a long-standing passion for
women's developmental issues. She has been actively
involved in promoting the recognition of the need for
new curriculum and programs, primarily on Christian
women's studies. As a result, Bonnie is currently
co-authoring a book on the spiritual mentoring of women
and she has personally invested her life and resources
in mentoring and developing women. In turn, many of
those mentored by Bonnie have begun the process and the
life-long investment of mentoring other women.
She earned her undergraduate degree in Graphic Arts at
Texas Tech University and pursued a career in commercial
interior design and space planning, which led to the
establishment of her own successful consulting business
- Brown Interior Designs. Notable projects include
designing the McDonald's Management Retreat Center and
the Olympic Track and Field Hall of Fame. She earned a
Masters of Divinity Degree from Alliance Theological
Seminary in Nyack, NY in 2002 and was ordained in 2005.
Currently she serves as an Assistant Pastor, overseeing
Pastoral Care and Counseling at the North Shore
(Peabody, MA) Bridge Christian Fellowship Church.
A pioneer and a challenger of the status quo, Bonnie has
been active in championing the causes and issues of
women. In 2004 she was appointed as the Mentoring
Coordinator for InsideOut International.
She and her husband live in Boston, Massachusetts. |
